Jalpaiguri, 30th October: An employee of Jalpaiguri Central Correctional Home was busted for smuggling cannabis inside the home. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Mofizuddin.
As per the report, Mofizuddin was smuggling cannabis inside the prison for a long time. On Saturday afternoon, the security guards of the correctional home caught him red-handed and called in the prison management. Twelve packets of cannabis were recovered from the accused.
On receiving the news, the Jalpaiguri Kotwali police reached the spot and arrested Mofizuddin. The entire incident is being investigated.
