Siliguri, 14th January: A wild elephant was spotted wandering in the Kholachand Fapri village near Siliguri early in the morning. An atmosphere of terror gripped the village after the elephant came out of the forest and entered the residential area.
On being notified, the personnel of Salugara Forest Department rushed to the spot and chased the elephant towards the forest.
