Siliguri, 22nd November: An elderly woman died after falling from the roof while drying clothes. The deceased has been identified as Kshama Dev (65), a resident of the Surya Sikha Sarani area of Haidar Para under Ward No. 39 of Siliguri.
Reportedly, the woman went to the third floor of the house to dry her laundry and fell from the roof. After this, the locals rushed her to the Siliguri District Hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead.
However, so far no response has been received from the relatives of the elderly woman. The body has been sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
