Rajganj, 05th September: Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma inaugurated an e-education computer center at the Ambari Falakata outpost under the New Jalpaiguri police station of Siliguri Police Commissionerate.
During the first phase, around 24 underprivileged students of the area will be provided with free computer training and classes. Today, Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma handed over books and study materials to those students. Along with this, on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the headmasters of three schools of the area were also felicitated.
In this regard, Commissioner Gaurav Sharma said that today, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, an e-education computer center has been launched in Ambari area. He added that there are already two units running at Matigara police station and Siliguri police station. The 24 students will be given basic computer knowledge free of cost in four shifts.
