Siliguri, 13th December: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has announced a Siliguri Police Commissionerate abhiyan to address a six-point demand. This announcement was made by District DYFI Joint Secretary Sagar Sharma during a press conference held at Anil Biswas Bhavan in Siliguri on Friday.
According to reports, the march will begin from Mahatma Gandhi More (Air View) and proceed towards the Siliguri Police Commissionerate on December 16. The primary focus of the abhiyan is to raise allegations of police brutality across the state and to address the growing criminal incidents in Siliguri, citing the police’s failure to prevent them.
The drive will be conducted to emphasize the fulfillment of the organization’s six-point demands.
