Petroleum companies have once again increased the price of domestic LPG cylinders by Rs 15. The state-run oil mammoths – Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation – announced that these prices will take effect from October 6.
As per the new rates, a LPG cylinder will be available at Rs 926 in Kolkata which is the highest among the metro cities in India. This is the fourth straight increase in rates in less than two months.
