Siliguri, 15th September: Amid ongoing protests by junior doctors over the R.G. Kar incident, doctors in Siliguri have set up an ‘Abhaya Clinic’ at Baghajatin Park to provide free medical services to the public.
The junior doctors in West Bengal have been actively demanding justice since the outrageous R.G. Kar incident, with their protests drawing significant public support. The ongoing strike by these doctors has severely impacted patient services in hospitals and medical colleges.
In response to the situation, junior doctors have organized various initiatives, including the ‘Abhaya Clinic,’ to continue providing medical care despite their strike. On Sunday, the clinic was set up at Baghajatin Park in Siliguri, where numerous individuals received medical treatment. Several individuals have benefited from the services provided.
