Siliguri, 28th February: Colleagues of a doctor allegedly attacked in Siliguri took to the streets in protest, demanding the swift arrest of the accused and exemplary punishment.
The protest saw participation not only from hospital staff but also representatives from various clubs and social organizations. Colleagues highlighted that the attacked doctor is not only a medical professional but also actively involved in social service.
MD Abu Mian, a colleague, said, “We cannot tolerate such behavior towards a doctor. He is both a physician and a social worker. We appeal to the administration to arrest the accused quickly and ensure appropriate punishment.”
