Darjeeling, 03rd April: Darjeeling District Magistrate along with a team of Municipality officials inspected various ration shops in the town after accusations of providing less quota of food articles raised.
Allegedly, the people were provided with rice that was a couple of kilograms short than the allotted amount by the ration shop vendors.
The officials inspected various such shops acting on the complaints and stated that the matter will be forwarded to the Food and Supplies District Controller.
