Rajganj, 16th April: Sensation prevailed in the area when a headless, limbless human torso was discovered on the roadside near Dhantala area, east of Fulbari No. 2 Gram Panchayat. Locals found the body this morning and presumed that the body could be of a child.
According to local sources, people found the body while they were out on a morning walk in the Natunhat-Chaturagach area of East Dhantala. They noticed a dog scratching the corpse lying on the Jorapani River bridge. The matter was immediately reported to the police. The NJP police reached the spot, recovered the body, and launched an investigation into the whole matter.
“I had gone for a morning walk as usual. The body was first spotted by an elderly man. But I am not being able to understand where and how the child’s body reached here,” local resident, Randeep Mandal, said while interacting with our correspondent.
