Siliguri, 08th October: Different boards of the hills raised voice against the Hathras incident.
During a press conference at the Siliguri Journalists’ Club, Renu Nira Bomjan, on behalf of Darjeeling and Kurseong Boards of Culture and Development, highly condemned the incident.
Speaking out against the disrespect of women, Bomjan demanded a proper investigation and strict punishment for the accused. They also started a movement in the hills against this incident.
