Siliguri, 26th February: On Monday, the residents of Dakshin Ektiasal area under the Dabgram-Fulbari Assembly are elated with the initiation of the renovation work of roadways and sewerage after a complaint in the ‘Didi Ke Bolo’ program.
Significantly, the Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Rupali Dey Sarkar, Dabgram-Fulbari Trinamool Congress Block President Debashish Pramanik, and others laid the foundation stone of about a 75-meter CC Road and a 150-meter sewerage work in the said area under the Pathashree project.
Reportedly, the road in Dakshin Ektiasal area has been in a dilapidated condition for a prolonged time. The residents of the area were facing difficulties due to the prevailing situation. Consequently, they complained about the matter at several places but to no avail. Later they complained in the ‘Didi Ke Bolo’ program prompting immediate action.
