Devotees throng Madan Mohan Thakur Bari in Cooch Behar on the first day of Bengali New Year

Cooch Behar, 15th April: As the new year dawned, the Madan Mohan Thakur Bari in Cooch Behar was filled with an influx of devotees who flocked to seek blessings and offer prayers. The atmosphere was vibrant with anticipation and reverence as people gathered to mark the beginning of the year with acts of faith and devotion. Likewise, BJP MLA Nikhil Ranjan Dey from Cooch Behar Dakshin (South) constituency also offered prayers at the temple on the occasion of New Year.
