Cooch Behar, 26th May: A terrifying incident unfolded in Cooch Behar’s Bandh Par area, under Ward No. 15, after a devastating storm struck the city around 10 p.m. on Thursday night, resulting in an old tree toppling onto four houses.
According to reports, the strong storm caused the aged tree to crash into the adjoining houses, leading to injuries of three individuals. The injured were taken to the hospital and were later discharged after receiving primary medical attention. Additionally, the houses also incurred damages.
Meanwhile, upon receiving the news, the Civil Defense team reached the spot this morning and initiated the removal of the toppled tree.
