Siliguri, 13th May: Keeping in mind the helpless situation of the people of North Bengal stranded across the country, the Northeast Frontier Railway has arranged special train services to help them reach home amid the ongoing lockdown.
As per the report, the Delhi-Dibrugarh AC special train carrying several passengers from North Bengal arrived at the NJP station on Wednesday. All the people were thermally screened after getting off the train. The luggage of all the passengers was thoroughly sanitized before entering the station premises and sanitizers were also provided to them. Apart from this, the detailed information of all the people was also noted by the health department officials.
Following this, buses were arranged for the travelers to help them reach their respective homes and have been further advised to stay in home quarantine for the next few days.
