Rajganj, 28th November: Sensation prevailed after the body of a man was recovered under the Chawai river bridge in Belakoba. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Orao (42) from Bhangarbari in Panikauri gram panchayat.
It has been learned that the locals found the body under the bridge in Ghauripara of Shikarpur gram panchayat adjacent to Belakoba in Rajganj block on Sunday morning. Following this, the police were informed. Upon receiving the news, the Belakoba outpost police reached the spot and recovered the body.
Meanwhile, according to the family sources of the deceased, Sunil Orao left for Shikarpur Bazar on a bicycle yesterday evening and did not return home at night. After searching in different places, the body was recovered under the said bridge this morning. His bicycle and bag were recovered from the spot.
The police primarily assumed that the person died after falling from the bridge. The police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
