Siliguri, 09th August: Darjeeling Mail will commence from Haldibari on Independence Day. The locals of Jalpaiguri and Haldibari are very ecstatic to hear the news of the Darjeeling Mail plying on the lines from Haldibari to Sealdah. The decision was taken by the Ministry of Railways and the Darjeeling Railway issued the release.
Reportedly, the train will leave Haldibari at 06:00 PM on 15th August and will reach the New Jalpaiguri station at 7:35 PM. After this, the train will leave for Sealdah Station at around 08:00 PM. Furthermore, Darjeeling Mail will leave Sealdah station at around 10:00 PM and reach NJP station at 8:00 AM halting at the last stoppage in Haldibari the train will reach at 10:00 AM.
In this regard, Jalpaiguri MP Dr Jayanta Kumar Roy said that Darjeeling Mail is again starting from Haldibari. Darjeeling Mail will leave from Haldibari to Jalpaiguri and then to New Jalpaiguri station.
