Siliguri, 09th February: The Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress Minority Cell organized a special Iftar event on Monday at the Karbala Mosque premises in Siliguri to mark the holy month of Ramadan.
The event was attended by Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb, noted social worker JP Kanodia, SJDA Chairman Dilip Dugar, Darjeeling District TMC Minority Cell President MD Imtiaz Ali, along with borough chairpersons, councillors, and other distinguished guests.
Before breaking the fast, members of the Muslim community offered prayers for peace, harmony, and the welfare of society. The event concluded with a collective Iftar, and attendees also engaged in discussions about the significance of the holy month of Ramadan.
