Siliguri, 18th November: In view of the rising dengue cases in Siliguri, the Darjeeling district CPIM alleged that the current board of administrators is not taking any necessary initiative in this regard.
The Darjeeling district CPIM handed over a memorandum to the commissioner of SMC on several demands including immediate re-election, strict measures to prevent mosquito-borne diseases, payment of allowances to the poor, clearing the city of garbage, and traffic congestion.
