Siliguri, 14th September: The Darjeeling District Congress staged demonstrations in Siliguri against the harassment and arrest of Rhea Chakraborty.
It is to be noted that ever since the untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, several people have raised voices on social media platforms demanding strict punishment for Chakraborty. Upon proper investigation, several pieces of information were revealed following which, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested on the charge of being involved in several illegal incidents.
However, after the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty, the Darjeeling District Congress took to the streets in Siliguri today. Congress leader Shankar Malakar stated that Chakraborty has become a victim of the politics being played by the Bihar BJP government.

Why are minds of people been brainwashed by Congress, saying that Rhea Chakraborty is from Bengal so she should not be in jail? Why is Trinamool Congress trying to make the public go against BJP, the only party who wished justice and CBI investigation in SSR case. India wants answer!!
Shame on these people, who join this kind of protest. Dirty kind of politics by Congress.
We all know Congress Party is in very bad shape in India. Why? Reason is dirty politics of some leaders. Party should deeply think of them.
