Siliguri, 28th December: Darjeeling District Congress celebrated the 136th Foundation Day of the Indian National Congress in Siliguri, today.
The party workers hoisted the Indian National Congress’ flag in front of the party office and took out a bike rally which commenced from Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri. The said rally then reached Bagdogra where a programme was organized.
Matigara-Naxalbari Congress MLA Shankar Malakar said that apart from the bike rally, various programmes have been organized throughout the day to mark the foundation day of the National Congress.
