Siliguri, 15th August: Dadabhai Sporting Club in Siliguri’s Deshbandhu Para organized a programme to raise awareness among people and urged all to stand by the COVID-19 patients and not discriminate them. An awareness rally also toured various parts of the city.
Club secretary Babul Pal Chowdhury stated that the common people are in a state of panic concerning COVID-19. Miking was carried out in the entire area on behalf of the club to raise awareness. Besides, masks were also distributed.
Dadabhai Sporting Club members hoisted the national flag, this morning, on the 74th Independence Day of India.
