Siliguri, 26th May: Biswajit Barman, a 21-year-old resident of Fokdoi Bari area of Dabgram-2 Gram Panchayat under Dabgram Fulbari Assembly constituency, lost his leg in a road accident amid the lockdown period.
With no source of income and no money, Barman’s family members are living under severe crisis and are struggling to bear the medical expenses of Biswajit.
Upon learning the helpless situation of the family, the Dabgram-Fulbari Trinamool Yuva Congress rushed to their rescue on Tuesday. The President Swapan Sarkar and other workers, under the initiative of organization President Goutam Goswami, visited Biswajit’s house today and handed over ration to the needy family. Besides, the organization members also made arrangements for his treatment.
