Rajganj, 08th April: A tragic incident surfaced where an individual sustained significant injuries after being attacked with stones by a mentally challenged on his way home on a bicycle in the Canal More area of the Sahudangi-Ambari State Highway. The injured individual has been identified as Mazutul Mohammad (38), a resident of Mantadari village in Rajganj.
Local sources revealed that on Sunday night an individual was heading towards Ambari on a bicycle. During this, a mentally challenged standing on the roadside pelted stones on Mazutul as he approached Canal More area near Sahudangi. Subsequently, Mazutul fell on the road and suffered severe head injuries.
Upon hearing Mazutul’s scream, the locals arrived at the spot and apprehended the mentally-challenged. Later, Ambari Outpost police arrived at the spot, rescued the injured and transported him to a private hospital in Fulbari.
