Siliguri, 04th September: A COVID vaccination camp was organized on Saturday at Shantinagar Yuvak Samiti Club under Ward no-36 with the assistance of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
It has been learned that the first dose of vaccine was given to mothers of children from 0 to 12 years of age and people aged above 45 years. A total of 200 people were vaccinated today.
Former Ward councilor Alok Bhakta said that the Chief Minister wants to vaccinate people at their doorstep. Hence, such an initiative was taken.
