COVID-19 vaccines to reach Siliguri in few hours

Siliguri, 13th January: After a meeting at Siliguri State Guest House on Wednesday, Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) Pralay Acharya stated that COVID-19 vaccines will shortly reach Siliguri.


As per the report, 18,000 doses of the vaccine will be arriving and the vaccination process will start next Saturday. In the first phase, 15,997 people in the Darjeeling district would be vaccinated.


According to the health department, vaccination will be started at six centres in the Darjeeling district namely Siliguri District Hospital, Kharibari, Naxalbari, Phansidewa Block Hospital, Kurseong Hospital, and North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
