Siliguri, 17th March: The entire country has been witnessing an atmosphere of panic regarding the Novel Coronavirus. In this regard, the Siliguri Municipal Corporation has taken various precautionary measures.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya stated that masks will be provided to the SMC cleaning staff as they travel to many places. Besides, awareness campaigns will also be held and several workers will be sent for home surveys.
The Mayor-in-Council Shankar Ghosh stated that awareness flakes would be installed in different parts of the city.
