Kalchini, 18th March: In view of the coronavirus outbreak, a meeting was held at the Kalchini Police Station along with the imams of mosques and the secretaries of different madrasas.
The meeting was attended by Kalchini Police Station official Parthasarathy Chanda, Kalchini Officer in Charge (OC) Abhishek Bhattacharya and various other madrasa officials.
Parthasarathi Chanda stated that everyone has been requested to avoid gatherings in religious places.
Ashraf Raja, on behalf of the Kalchini mosque, stated that awareness campaigns will also be raised regarding the Novel coronavirus.
