Siliguri, 16th March: A major fire broke out after a cooking gas cylinder burst into flames at a house in the Telipara area under Dabgram No. 02 region, on Tuesday.
Reportedly, Nedu Rajbangshi, a member of the house, was cooking during which the incident occurred. The matter was immediately reported to the fire brigade. Upon receiving the news, three fire engines reached the spot and brought the fire under control after half an hour.
Ajit Ghosh, station manager of the fire department in Siliguri, said that the incident took place while cooking. No casualties were reported in the incident.
