Cooch Behar, 19th April: In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, thermal screening commenced in Cooch Behar’s Ward No. 20, this morning, under the joint initiative of the Cooch Behar District Health Department and the district administration.
As per the reports, several people were screened in Ward No. 20’s Harijan Basty, Khalasi Basty and many other areas. Besides, door-to-door thermal screening was also conducted.
Cooch Behar Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer Sanjay Pal and other health department officials were present during the programme.
