Siliguri, 29th March: A Cooch Behar resident Purneshwar Barman and his wife are stranded in Siliguri amid the nation-wide lockdown. In this context, the couple desperately sought help from the administration.
As per the report, Purneshwar Barman’s wife was admitted to the North Bengal Medical College-Hospital and was undergoing treatment, a few days ago. After the 21-day nation-wide lockdown was imposed, the couple could not return home and are currenlty living in a rented house in Ambika Nagar, Siliguri.
Barman stated that they are running out of money and desperately sought help from the administration to help them return home.
