Fulbari, 03rd September: A container driver sustained injuries following a head-on collision between his vehicle and a parked truck in Fulbari early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on the road leading to the India-Bangladesh border.
According to reports, a truck was stationary on the border road when a container lost control and collided with it. The front sections of both vehicles were damaged in the crash. Local residents quickly rescued the injured container driver and transported him to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for treatment.
Upon receiving the information, officers from the New Jalpaiguri police station arrived at the scene, recovered the two vehicles, and launched an investigation into the incident.
