Cooch Behar, 10th November: A youth allegedly attempted suicide by consuming poison after his four lovers suddenly confronted him at his house all at the same time. The incident surfaced from the Bhurkunda village of Jorpatki gram panchayat in Mathabhanga No. 1 block of Cooch Behar.
Reportedly, the youth worked at a pharmacy and was in a love affair with different young women. After the matter came to light, the four women reached his house in the said area. Out of the four, two are residents of Ghoksadanga, one from Bhaurthana and one from Golokganj.
The youth was bewildered by the sight of all his lovers and apparently consumed poison to kill himself. He was rushed to the nearby hospital and is undergoing treatment.
