Fulbari, 26th October: A head-on collision between a four-wheeler and a dumper occurred in Fulbari, resulting in injuries to two individuals. The incident took place on Saturday in the Amadighi area, along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway (NH).
Reports indicate that the four-wheeler was traveling towards Siliguri from Jalpaiguri when it attempted to overtake another vehicle in the vicinity of Fulbari. During this maneuver, it collided with an oncoming dumper.
The impact twisted the front part of the four-wheeler. Among the four occupants in the car, two sustained injuries and were promptly rescued and transported to a private hospital in Fulbari for treatment.
Authorities from the Fulbari Highway Traffic Outpost and New Jalpaiguri police station arrived at the scene shortly after being notified. The damaged vehicle was recovered, and police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
