Rajganj, 06th October: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee virtually inaugurated various Durga Puja celebrations in Rajganj on Sunday. The event marked the virtual opening of approximately 450 pavilions across the state.
Among the notable inaugurations was the Puja organized by the Paghalupara Yubak Sangha Women’s Group and the Sri Sangha Club. This year, the theme for the association’s puja is inspired by a renowned monastery in Taiwan. Similarly, the Sri Sangha Club has chosen a fictional temple as their theme.
The inauguration event was attended by Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Rajganj police station IC Anupam Majumdar, Bhorer Alo police station OC Sandip Dutta, Ambari Outpost OC Hirukanti Dutta, social worker Arindam Banerjee, and Binnaguri Gram Panchayat Pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed, along with members of the clubs.
