CM Mamata Banerjee’s ‘Didir Surakha Kavach’  is now her ‘Raksha Kavach’: CPI (M) State Secretary Mohammed Salim

Siliguri, 08th January: CPI (M) State Secretary Mohammad Salim has arrived on a North Bengal tour to strengthen the party ahead of the Panchayat elections. 


 

Mohammad Salim held a meeting with the district committee members and leaders at Anil Biswas Bhavan in Siliguri today. After Siliguri, he will also hold meetings with party workers in other districts of North Bengal.


 

Addressing the journalists after the meeting, he took a dig at the state government regarding the ‘Didir Surakha Kavach‘ programme. Mohd. Salim said that ‘Suraksha Kavach’ is now CM Mamata Banerjee’s ‘Raksha Kavach’, a protection shield against all the corruption TMC’s state leaders, ministers and workers are involved with. With the introduction of such a programme ‘Suraksha Kavach’ CM, Mamta Banerjee is only using it as a defence shield or as a security.

 

 

He further added that the hills are also being harmed due to the change of parties and political leaders. He stated that he hopes that in future the hills’ residents and political leaders will think in the interest of the hill region.
