Rajganj, 22nd August: This year on the occasion of Durga Puja, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced a grant of Rs 60,000 to Durga Puja committees. Today, the CM held an administrative meeting at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata.
The CM announced a grant of the said amount to be granted to the Puja committees. Last year a sum of Rs 50,000 was granted but this year they have decided to raise Rs 10,000 more than the previous making it Rs 60,000. Adding to this, she also declared a 60% exemption for electricity.
Today, members of about 170 clubs of Police, Block Administration, Fulbari1, Fulbari 2, Dabgram 1, Dabgram 2 and Binnaguri Zone attended the virtual meeting of the Chief Minister at Purvba Dhantala of Fulbari.
