Siliguri, 25th January: A youth has been arrested in connection with the Female Civic Volunteer’s mobile snatching incident in the Shaktigarh area under the NJP Police station. The arrested youth has been identified as Mohammad Azad, a resident of the Nichpara Jhankar More area.
Upon interrogation, the accused stated that he sold the stolen mobile phone to another youth. The accused has been remanded in police custody after being presented in the Jalpaiguri court, today.
