Civic volunteer attempts suicide in Raiganj Police Station

Raiganj, 24th February: Bappa Das, a civic volunteer, attempted suicide at the Raiganj Police Station in North Dinajpur.
According to sources, Das tried to take his life by tying himself to the noose and also by cutting his wrist at the Raiganj Police Station, on Sunday night. Acting promptly, the other civic volunteers and the police officers immediately rushed him to the Raiganj Medical College-Hospital. However, the reason behind Das’ attempted suicide is still unknown.
