Siliguri, 15th July: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) handed over two oxygen concentrators to Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
The second wave of COVID-19 highlighted the importance of oxygen to deal with the pandemic. However, the demand for oxygen concentrators and cylinders is now being satisfied to some extent as compared to the scenario in the past few months. Nonetheless, in order to ensure that COVID patients do not have any difficulty in getting oxygen, CII member Sanjay Tibruwal, on Thursday, handed over two oxygen concentrators to SMC administrator Goutam Deb.
Goutam Deb said that the two oxygen concentrators can be used to treat four patients at a time.
