Darjeeling, 03rd January: Today, the State Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee addressed the gathering in Mallaguri and informed the party supporters that she will travel to Darjeeling on January 22nd, where she will participate in a massive event against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) before the ‘Maha Rally’ commenced in Siliguri.
He called on all the organizations in the hills, political parties and student organizations to stage a rally against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC). She also requested the people to not back down from protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).
