Alipurduar, 21st January: The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, arrived in Alipurduar amid a 6-day official visit to North Bengal.
While en route from the Hasimara Air Force Base to Malangi Lodge, the Chief Minister unexpectedly stopped her vehicle upon seeing the Vice Chairman of the North Bengal Development Board, Mridul Goswami. She engaged in a conversation with him and instructed him to attend the upcoming administrative meeting.
During her visit, the Chief Minister also took a moment to stop in front of the Hasimara Gurudwara, where she received prasad (holy offering) from the temple. The visit underscored her active engagement with local leaders and the community during her tour of the region.
