Rajganj, 02nd March: Central forces carried out a route march in Ambari under the Rajganj Assembly constituency to strengthen security arrangements ahead of the upcoming elections. The march was conducted in multiple areas under Bhorer Alo Police Station to maintain law and order and boost public confidence before polling.
On Monday, jawans marched through Business Colony, Sudamganj, Votepara and Sahebpara in Ambari. Administrative sources stated that the main objective of the programme was to assess the law and order situation and reassure residents in the run-up to the elections.
The Officer-in-Charge of Bhorer Alo Police Station and other police officials were also present during the route march. The jawans interacted with local residents as part of the confidence-building initiative.
Sources further informed that surveillance and patrolling in sensitive areas will be intensified as the elections approach to ensure peaceful and fearless voting.
