Cattle smuggler killed in BSF firing on Indo-Bangladesh border in Phansidewa

Phansidewa, 18th October: A cattle smuggler was shot by the Border Security Force (BSF), while attempting to break through the barbed wires, with the intention to smuggle cattle, in the Kalamgach area of the Indo-Bangladesh border in Phansidewa.


As per sources, the accused was cutting the barbed wires while attempting to enter Bangladesh from the Indian side of the border. During this, the trafficker was killed in BSF firing. Subsequently, a cattle was rescued from the spot.

Later, the BSF personnel informed the matter to Phansidewa police. Upon receiving the news, police arrived at the spot and recovered the deceased body. Currently, the Phansidewa police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire matter.
