Siliguri, 07th March: A new campaign was launched by the fire department to prevent the repeated fire incidents in Siliguri. The officials of the fire department and the firefighters inspected a private hospital in Siliguri’s Matigara, on Saturday.
According to the information received, the campaign will be launched continuously by the fire department. Under the campaign, an in-depth examination of the fire extinguishers in private hospitals and hotels in Siliguri will be conducted. Bhaskar Nag, an official of the Fire Department, stated that the campaign will be launched continuously in Siliguri and its neighboring areas. Special arrangements will be made to ensure that the fire extinguishers, in hotels, private hospitals, and shopping malls are in an appropriate condition.
