Siliguri, 02nd November: Union Minister of Home Affairs Nisith Pramanik made strong comments on the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) after he landed at Bagdogra Airport from Delhi today.
Addressing the media, Pramanik stated that after Gujarat, CAA will be implemented gradually across the country. He added that the CAA is for the deprived and oppressed section of society.
Speaking on the dengue situation in Siliguri, he urged the citizens to raise awareness regarding the disease and keep the surroundings clean. Following this, the Minister left for Cooch Behar by road directly from the airport.
