Burglary in a gold shop in Siliguri’s Champasari area

Siliguri, 23rd February: Sensation prevailed after gold and silver jewelry worth 5 lakhs rupees were looted from a gold shop in Siliguri Champasari More.
It has been reported that a gang of burglars broke into the shop through the window and stole the ornaments. According to sources, the incident came to light when the owner opened the shop on Sunday morning. He found a gas cutter machine lying inside and saw everything scattered around. The incident was then reported at the Pradhan Nagar police station. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
