Rajganj, 07th January: Sensation prevailed after a burglary took place in a gold shop in Rajganj market, on Thursday night.
Reportedly, gold and silver jewellery worth around Rs 70,000 was stolen. The incident was reported to Rajganj police. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot and started an investigation.
Jodha Shah Sonar, an employee of the shop, said that he closed the shop at 9 pm last night and went home. When he came to open the shop today morning, he found the door lock broken. 650 grams of silver and 5 grams of gold jewellery are missing from the shop, he added.
