Rajganj, 23rd September: The jawans of Rajganj block Chaulhati 195th Batallion of BSF launched operations on Tuesday and arrested a youth along with 1 kg of cannabis.
The arrested accused has been identified as Anwar Hussain (28), a resident of Rajganj’s Sarkar Para. Reportedly, the accused was on his way to smuggle cannabis in Bangladesh.
BSF officials later handed him over to the Rajganj police. Hussain was produced before the Jalpaiguri district court on Wednesday. Police are investigating the whole incident.
