BSF inaugurates drinking water project for border residents in Phansidewa

Phansidewa, 20th May: The BSF has inaugurated a clean drinking water project to benefit people living on the border. An arsenic and iron removal RO plant was commissioned on Monday in the Baneshwar Jote area of the 176th Battalion, on the India-Bangladesh border in Phansidewa.


Reportedly, the project was inaugurated by BSF IG SK Sharma, Inspector Sanjay Pant, and Company Commandant Sujit Kumar Das. IG Sharma mentioned that the residents of the area are very pleased with the establishment of this drinking water project. The project will provide water service to approximately 10-12 villages in the border area, and this service will be available 24 hours a day.
